Hey There! My name is Tim and since 2014 I have been working hard to build a brand for ArepasDelGringo. Since the moment I first set foot traveling in Colombia and had an arepa for the first time, I knew this was something I wanted to share with the world. The beauty of arepas are, they are very regional so they are made different in each region of Colombia and Venezuela. Here you can read about me, my brand and ways to sponsor ArepasDelGringo.

I have come to realize how passionate people are about the food from their homeland in Colombia and Venezuela and what a loyal following it has given me. I have also seen my fans demanding more. More content, more videos, more recipes, more translations into Spanish and English – and that is very humbling to see and hear.

Sponsorship Opportunities

ArepasDelGringo would love to work with you and we have a variety of ways were we can make that happen. As a sponsor of ArepasDelgringo, your message can be delivered on all platforms (Web, YouTube and Facebook) that ArepasDelGringo is on. Some ideas of sponsorship could include:

  • Sponsorship of ingredients for producing the recipes – this may seem like a small opportunity, but we really appreciate help with covering the cost of groceries to make our next video. Typically it is the cost of Harina P.A.N, cheese, butter, salt, milk and other vegetables for condiments.
  • Sponsorship of kitchen appliances/bowls/spatulas – I have been using what I have had in the kitchen for all of my videos. If you want to see your equipment being used, let us know.
  • Sponsorship of video/lighting/photography hardware – I have been using a wonderful Nikon camera my wife bought me for Christmas a few years ago and I love it. What I am having trouble with now is getting a rig to shoot video looking directly down at the bowl or counter, especially with one person.
  • Sponsorship of hosting and website costs– Did you know that it costs me money every month to give you all great Arepa content? I need to pay Hosting fees (so this website can live some where) and domain fees (so I can reserve arepasdelgringo.com) along with media storage costs to keep the lights on. Hosting costs about $500.00 for three years. I would appreciate any help to cover the cost of hosting for the next time period.
  • Sponsorship of actual videos or recipes themselves – If you would prefer to sponsor an actual video or recipe, we can make that happen as well. We can add in imagery, logos, text links or some seconds of video mentions in our content.
  • Sponsorship of a trip to Colombia during the famous Arepa festival – and document every second of it – Selfie blog style, walking to the next place to pick up an arepa, traveling with a backpack – meeting the people. This has been a dream of mine for years now – to travel across Colombia and experience an arepa from each region. Talking to people, how they make theirs and share that message with the world.
  • Co-Sponsorship of helping out with our friends in Venezuela – Many of my fans come from Venezuela – a country which is going through so much pain and struggle right now. It pains me to see it’s people who can’t even afford, or have access to the most basic necessities. I really would like to help them out in one way or another and would like to collaborate a way to do that.
